2016 Alberta Summer Games - Leduc Alberta

Big thanks to all the volunteers who helped put together a fantastic event in Leduc.

The weather was mostly cooperative and the events went off with minimal delays.

This is a great start for some of our young competitors whether they continue with whitewater slalom or canoe polo this event was hopefully an inspiring experience for them and they will look fondly back onto it when they make it to the national or international levels of competition like so many of us have already.

Checkout the great photos on our Facebook page.

The association is still looking for volunteers to work some shifts at our Casino to be held Aug 8 and 9/2016.

As per our new funding policy, clubs who wish to request funding for events, equipment or out of province travel, need to work at least 2 shift at the casino.

If your club has not yet made a commitment for your 2 or more shifts, we need to hear from you before the end of May.

We still have many spots available, and anyone can work on behalf of your club.
Accommodation and travel are covered, and no experience is needed.
